Guidelines for Establishing Student Exchange Program Agreements
Complete Student Exchange Program proposals will be submitted to [email protected], and will include:
- Signature(s) from the academic dean and, if applicable, program head.
- Statement verifying that the proposed program complies with the established guidelines for international partnerships.
- Request for International Partnership Development Committee (IPDC) approval.
- The Student Exchange Program Agreement with only the signature of the Dean. Signatures from the UT Dallas Provost and partner institution must be collected after IPDC approval.
- General description of the proposed agreement.
- Institutional details and partnership structure.
- Level of partnership: University wide or school specific.
- Public or private status of the partner institution.
- Ranking and accreditation of the partner institution. Note: identify web site with relevant information or attach documentation.
- Total student population of the partner institution, including proportional distribution of undergraduate and graduate students.
- Degree programs offered by the partner institution, and transferable credit available.
- Language(s) of instruction.
- Description of how the partnership objectives align with UT Dallas vision and goals.
- Description of any historical or current academic relationship between UT Dallas and the proposed partner institution. Note publications, faculty exchanges, workshops, and visits, as applicable.
- Any other relevant information.
- Current program evaluation (for partnership renewals only).
The Protocol for Establishing an International Partnerships outlines the time frames and basic expectations related to the submission, review, and approval of international partnership proposals.
